Cubans back in cork on the 11th at the silver springs for another dinner show.

I'd encourage anyone in the area to head along

the dinner was savage last time and the boxing was class!

I'm working too, and have to cover the parade in Cork for the paper, which is about as appealing as a case of crabs. Lads, put a few beers away in my honour. I'll be up to my eyes trying to get quotable sentences from monosyllabic children.

On a positive note, Paddy's breaking news means we have no excuse not to see the Cubans in action next month. ESB tour Part Deux, anyone?

Any news on an opponent for Martin Rogan yet!
I'd love to see the Brewster fight come off or even James Toney at the King's Hall, that fight would be ****ing huge for Rogan and Ireland!

 

i think it will b a commonwealth title defence...so i would guess somebody from england...but the fight is meant to b happening at the odyssey...which hold 1000s more than the kings hall:good

Relevant offers About 400 people have stripped off in London in order to win free flights in a stunt organised by Irish carrier Aer Lingus.

The airline had promised two free flights to people willing to strip off at Jubilee Gardens, in the shadow of the London Eye. The participants were given `shamrocks' to protect their modesty.

The airline had hoped to attract 1000 people for the strip-off, but Metropolitan Police told The Daily Telegraph that less than half that number had turned out, despite the unseasonably warm weather.

A spokesman for the airline said some participants had stripped off completely, despite warnings from the police that they would be fined for doing so.

The airline's stunt was to promote new routes from Gatwick Airport to Europe, tying in with it's "no hidden extras" tagline.

Can someone check to see if they are irish..........??
