Mbaye is ranked #1. Not sure which way the EBU operate but David Barnes and Olusegun are ranked in the top ten so they could get the nod to make for a big domestic fight?

 

What are the chances of getting Olusegun for the british and European title?That would be some night in Belfast!!!!

 

M'Baye would be an easy touch for Paul, he wasn't great in his prime and he's pretty damn poor now. But is still a former 'World Champion', and a decent name.

M'Baye was lucky to get a decision win over Barrie Jones recently, however he would be much tougher than Dean Harrison and if he turns up on the night tougher than Lynes was.

 

Just read on the scene that Israel Vazquez's return will be at Featherweight and he is chasing a fight with Steven Luevano. He goes on to say the opponent's are better at 126 but he is interested in a fight with Juan Manuel Lopez!!!
So it looks like Bernard Dunne will not be getting his shot at Vazquez after all.
So are we gonna get a Dunne/Munroe fight in Dublin or do you think Bernard will still chase the American Dream with a fight against another top Super Bantamweight?

 

I think the fight between dunne and munroe will happen . Does anyone know whether peters had even made a move after vazquez? No matter what i dont think dunne should go after lopez

 

I met Bernard the other night and mentioned the Vazquez fight to him, i now know what the strained look on his face was.
Not sure if an offer was made but it looks like it's a dead deal now anyway.
From a purely selfish aspect i want the Munroe fight so i can attend another glorious night at the o2.

I think Hyde is only looking for a bit of publicity for his man, he knows calling out fury, will make the newspapers. Perez v Fury wont happen for a long time, if ever.:thumbsup

 

According to paddy. furey called out perez first knowing that he was injured and why not take this fight? Its a huge name (but thats all it is) so early on

 

Speaking of Paddy...the Dunne painting should be arriving any day now, so let me (us) know when it gets there & what you think.

And thinking about British titles, and Lindsay win on Saturday. What would be a real crowd puller for Irish boxing, if Lindsay and Irish champ Pajo Hyland fight each other, and both titles be at stake. Hyland mothers English so he can fight for the British title. What do you think about that for a match up, and who do you fancy. Dublin v Belfast, North v South. Hyland would be the pick for me.:bbb
