had a beer with paddy snr at 02 asked him how he felt about pajo,s fight and stepping it up he was so pissed at the change at the last minute from a 5ft 10in fighter with a decent record to a 5ft 4in guy alltough tough was not in pajo,s league but said it was no one,s fault. they are going to step the boy,s up the problem is costs, for the boy,s to fight on smaller shows against good opposition the costs can be to much for the apponents at the moment they are trying to do a deal for pajo to fight choy for the IBF title eliminator but said they will only take risks with something concrete at the end. paulie is manditory chalenger for the EU title and are hopeing it will happen in late november

Wonder would Jim Rock fancy his chances for the Irish Middleweight title,He looked in good trim the other night and i get the feeling he is looking for a big night against Lee or Duddy.
Not a great test for Lee imo but it would definetly be a high profile fight and an easy one to sell.

dont feel so bad about predicting power, Sweeney has been out of shape every other time i have seen him!

he could still have dropped another four pounds!

Hopefully the boy will continue his new found work ethic he did look fantastic I just hope he continues this

Jim Rock wont take a fight against Lee.

Hyland v Choi? Lets have a bit of that alright :deal I understand that there might be an increase in costs as opponents improve but you've got to speculate to accumulate! I'd be interested to see the Choi fight though that would be a really good step up and test.
Just looked at the lad Paul Hyland is scheduled to fight for the vacant EU. He should beat him hands down.

Irish Boxing gets really good when they put Irish Whisky in the bottles to the tune of "Whiskey Bar" with Irish Jim Morrison singing.

I wish I could answer that with certainty, but what I know is a possible match between Martin and John Simpson is being arranged for December[maybe]. With the demise of Setanta, Lindsay's career has been put on hold somewhat, but I'm hoping things sort themselves out soon, and a start would be this fight with Simpson.
