I thought the Lee fight is deffo on RTE as it was confirmed that the fight was going to be shown in one of the papers.

Hmmmm! I've been thinking about Andy Lee. Now I take back what I speculated about it being Vera or anyone else. Do you know what I just rememberd that In france Hasssan N'Jikam has won 20 fights since his pro debut! I remember he represented Cameroon in Greece! I think he now has French citizenship and may be aiming for Macklin's title but I just wonder could this be the guy they were trying to get to the UL on 14th? Can't see why Vera would still want to turn down the reported 250K Stewart offered for the rematch but you know the more I think about it the more they gave up on Vera allready. So I think it COULD be N'Jikam! Wow very impressed if he accepts and comes over. By the way this is pure speculation I have no inside info. wish I had though! Anyone else thinkg this is a possibilty or am I losing the plot!

guy's just remembered Ormonde is nearly 1 year into his pro career. I missed his debut in Kerry but does anyone have any footage of him! Pity they couldn't get him over to the national stadium he seems quite active which is good! I wish we could see some of our US based prospects make the odd trip over like a 1 in 5 ratio so we could keep track.

Sam Sexton has dismissed claims by Martin Rogan that he feels like Peter Pan - and says he must be away with the fairies! Last week Rogan compared himself to the boy who never grew up, saying he feels better than ever at 38. The comments came ahead of his grudge fight with Sexton at the Odyssey Arena, Belfast, on November 6. It's a mouth-watering rematch of their May fight, which Sexton won thanks to a controversial swollen-eye stoppage in the eighth round. And the Commonwealth heavyweight champion has blasted Rogan over his Peter Pan quotes. "It wouldn't surprise me if Martin started saying that he's been getting advice from Tinkerbell next," said Sexton..

"It would be understandable because he seems to be away with the fairies if he thinks he can beat me,

"Peter Pan was one of my favourite books when I was little, and the character Martin reminds me most of is one of the Lost Boys.

"He didn't have a clue what to do when he fought me in Belfast.

"He had one good round and hasn't stopped moaning since about being hard done by, even though I bashed him up and made things look easy.

"I boxed his head off and I'll do the same in the rematch. I'm much fitter now than when we fought in May, and I'll have no problem going the full 12 rounds if I need to.

"But to be honest I don't think that will happen because I'm going to break Rogan's heart.

"I out-boxed him the first time we fought, and I'm going to do a number on him again this time around."

Rogan Feels Like Peter Pan

Belfast heavyweight Martin Rogan says he feels like Peter Pan and has vowed to be Captain Hook when he meets Sam Sexton next month. Rogan will take on Sexton at Belfast's Odyssey Arena on November 6 in an eagerly anticipated Commonwealth Heavyweight Title rematch. Sexton won the first fight in controversial circumstances when he halted Rogan on a swollen-eye stoppage in the eighth round in May. It was the 38 year-old's first defeat - but he says despite giving away more than a decade to Sexton, he feels younger than ever in training.

"I'm like Peter Pan the moment," said Rogan.

"Training is going so well that if someone told me I could fly I would believe them.

"I've definitely found the secret to eternal youth because I'm fitter and stronger now than I was when I was 21.

"I'm still more than a month away from fight night, but if I had to go 20 rounds with Sexton tomorrow night, I could do.

"I'm in the shape of my life and Sexton is going to be in a big trouble next month.

"He was puffing and panting in our first fight after six rounds, so imagine what he's going to be like against a fitter, hungrier fighter."

Rogan vowed to stop Sexton on November 6 - and do to so early.

"I'm preparing for war, and while I feel like Peter Pan in training camp, I'm going to be Captain Hook at the Odyssey - Sexton's going down in a blitz and I'll be looking to take him out early doors," added the fiery Irishman.
