I really hope McCloskey does the business here. If he gets through this one I would be really strong on him winning a world title. I think this will be the fight that gets him and tips him over the edge and into a new class of operation.

Nice to see Hearn said he can fight for a world title if he gets the chance. Hopefully he is true to his word. Despite not liking Khan (his poxy attitude and horrible boxing style rather than just being a 'hater') I'll have to be up for him in this one with Salita. Much easier fight for McCloskey to make than Salita.

Was anyone on here at the show in Cork when McCloskey was dropped? Can anyone shed some light on it? Was it a flash KD or what? I'd be curious as to know what it was about.

Final question, and its a tough one, if you had to choose one (lets say tickets, transport and hotel all paid for so thats not part of your decision) would you go see Rogie or McCloskey?

The Rogie fight would be my first choice, it is just going to be electric, especially after the first encounter. Also, the undercard is top class.

I fear that the McCloskey v Mbaye could be a dull fight, Mbaye has that awkward style and I cannot seeing his style and McCloskeys style making an exciting fight. I still expect McCloskey to convincingly outbox Mbaye, but there isnt the same excitement to it as the Rogie fight. Finally, you can always sky+ McCloskeys fight and watch when you get home, that is what I intend to do.

ha nice one, dont see any problem with that, still really think egan should have had a good crack at the pro game, be moved along quickly and see where he could go

    Besides me....No.

Nice bloke is kenny was signing autographs for anyone who wanted one. The security were giving him a hard time cos people kept standing up to go over to him and get photos n stuff.....

The darts was mental, two mass brawls erupted at different stages of the night. Crazy.

interesting stuff, actually saw paddy barnes yesterday in his car (barely seeing over the steering wheel mind) but hes taking a gamble not going pro now or soon imo

james moore moving up to middleweight? its interesting but he wouldnt exactly be able to bully proper sized middles, still the middleweight scene in the world sense is by no means as deep as light middle and failing that there are some decent domestic scraps there with duddy, lee , macklin
