Oh dear I forgot about the Ireland match. Ther is no way Brian Peters will have Andy on the same time as the qualifier, surely he wouldn't risk it! Is the qualifier an afternoon match or an evening match?

Did you watch the Ireland match at the o2 that day, I really felt for the fighters, everytime Ireland scored a point Jim Rock got clocked, Sure he didn't mind too much though.

Anyone going to McCloskey instead of Rogan. Does anyone know anything about the Belfast heavy David Hannah that is turning pro at the Meadowbank.

The article also states Matthew macklin vacated the Irish title when he won the European. Actually Macklin vacated it well over 3 years ago to let Jim Rock fight Kevin Phelan for it.

You don't have to vacate an Irish title when you win the European anyway,
So who knows what else in there is made up.

Btw Irish fighters are not guaranteed to be in the European rankings at all after winning the Irish title, nevermind being ranked 15th.
Bit of an odd thing saying winning such a title gives you a specific placing in the rankings.

I have asked about that Hannah fella - but think he could be a guy that was in the British Army and fought for Scotland and that he aint really from Belfast.

I've never heard of him. Its a good thing the rogan tickets can be refunded. I had one for my mate who came to the first fight with us. This time round he said he was going but left me up **** creek with a spare ticket.
