northern ireland is part of the uk and birmingham is in the uk also last time i checked..... you can change you nationality if you want or have the right , but maybe they didnt want to, boxrec has them down as uk citizens.

let's hope andy lee has a big year,he's been hampered so much since the vera fight with injuries and the lack of decent fights, everything seemed all good after the gibbs fight,but lets be realistic,gibbs wasnt very good to begin with and since then he's been fighting people that he should have been fighting in his first ten fights.he's shown so little advancement in his ability,clearly the foundations are there to form a top fighter but he shouldnt be near the middleweight elite at the minute with his current form.

You are a dick for telling the fellas on here that Rogan, McCloskey and Macklin are British because it says so on Boxrec. Rogan and McCloskey are clearly Irish & Macklin stated in an interview that he see's himself as Irish despite being born in England. You are obviously just looking for attention :roll:

Rogan is from west Belfast and McCloskey is from Dungiven, two very republican areas - i doubt you would get away with calling them Brits to their face.The fact that they have fought for British titles (while wearing their tri-colour trunks ) hardly makes them british regardless of what it says on boxrec

 

I think macklin is 60/40 british/irish, doesnt mean i cant support the guy though, mccloskey and rogan are irish. im from the north but have an irish passport so its not as cut and dry as you may think regarding territory

I like all the fighters mentioned in this thread and i follow most british fighters also although im irish and from donegal myself but macklin , mccloskey, rogan are british 1st , irish 2nd. sorry to offend you guys.
