It’s good you have a sense of humor. I’m just teasing you guys. Actually I love the Irish. More heart than anyone else. Lot’s of Irish living here on the Island. Our phone books are filled with Mc’s.

You bet, like I said, more heart than anyone else. I loved Steve Collins, wish he got a shot against Jones cause he would have giving him all he could handle. Collins was really popular here.

Kelly gets a breather then? :D Is Vera going to have to fight every Irish middle weight until he loses to one of them? You guys know how to carry a grudge. :yep

What started out as a shitty day has ended on a much brighter note. Macklin looked very impressive but let's not forget that he has 2 losses against his name. He obviously had the resolve and mental attitude allied with boxing skill to learn from his experiences and move on. There's no reason why Andy Lee cant do the same even if it does mean getting back to the blackboard.
**** it we want one of these lads fighting for a world title in the States. On a different note there surely must have been a record number of posts on this thread today.

Mick, I believe Lee can come back a better fighter. I also believe Duddy will never fight as bad as he did against Smichet, and macklin is going from strength to strenght. Irish boxing is on the rise, and a couple of bad results will not deter us from taking our place among the worlds best boxing nations.UP THE IRISH:good
