is abraham really 5'9"?

    :huh i always thought he was bigger than that.

    means pavlik has nearly 6 inches on him. :yikes

    He's 5'10" I think. Pavlik is a big middleweight though.

    I too thought BOTH guys were taller than they are.

    I thought Miranda was a 6 footer.5'10 surpirsed me.

    Abraham's not that tall, but he compensates by basically being as thick as a tank and having an extremely powerful back and shoulders, which is where that explosive one punch power comes from.

    One thing to remember though, is that it's impossible to truly be a jack of all trades. Abraham's heavy muscles basically ensure that he'll never be able to have the workrate of leaner fighters like Calzaghe or Pavlik because he'd gas if he were pressed to do it over an entire fight. To Abraham's credit, he fights with the exact style that fits him- the high guard, winning rounds by just throwing for the second half of them, and throwing big time countershots that carry alot of bang for the buck.

    Marvin was 5'8 and he whooped the **** out of more explosive puncher in Tommy Hearns ..

    what about marvin who was just as thick and muscular as Abrahams.

    He was an exceptional talent though, but I'm sure even he gassed out towards the end of fights.

    Hagler did slow down late in fights at times.

    Antofurmo and Hart both come to mind.

    Ikeke also never won a title and never performed when he stepped up in class.

    He was still a pretty good opponent and highly regarded at the time.

    I also think the guy who he wont the titlefrom in England was about Pavlik height
