How is it that he had mediocre power at light middle and is now knocking out full sized mids? And the way hes moving in the ring lookes like he did back when he was fighting gomez and mosley. Does this seem kinda fishy to anyone else?
Not talking about his physique. Im say that he looks so rejuvenated now that hes with roach. His agility, hand speed, power, stamina seem to have massively increased.

Martinez was a former welter and light middle and has always been small at middleweight usually gaining 7-8 lbs overnight and has been stopped at a lower weight. There probably wasn't much of a size difference between the 2 and Martinez was badly faded. Geale was dehydrated having rehydrated from 157lbs to 182lbs, an incredible 25lbs increase. So he was weakened at the weight and so was easier to put away. Nothing I have seen from Cotto makes me think he is cheating.
Moving up even just a couple of pounds can bring better stamina, power and speed if your body is no longer able to comfortably make a previous weight. This is one reason I would like to see same day weigh ins brought back. We'd have a better idea where fighters naturally belong as they couldnt boil down and than have that extra time to rejuvenate their bodies. Less weight classes would be great to, but we'll never see that because there is to much money in it for the greedy and corrupt ABC orgs.
