    "If I can't beat Monte Barrett I'll retire" ???????

Granted it would be a big set back but retirement is insane, I guess all the other greats never had set backs in thier career and when things got tough they just quit

I know it's supposed to show his confidence that he'll beat Monte but does anyone really believe he'll retire if he loses?

There's very little chance he'll lose, but if even he did he wouldn't retire.

This is the hype for the general public to buy into, not boxing fans.

I think if he loses to Barret, he will retire (for a while).

I know guys say things to get people excited about the fight but this is silly

come on in the heavyweight division anything can happen especially since we don't know what Haye will carry with him from cruiser...if something were to happen then this just gives all the people who can't stand him more amunition

Haye thinks he is smarter than he actually is. He has great physical talent but will come unstuck cometh the hour

This fight will be exciting, as haye will have to guard up pretty well, and we know that Barrett is coming to FIGHT, its now or never for him.
