I'm just wondering because I don't trust Jones and his "humble"ness and "gracious"ness. I think the guy tries to be something he naturally isn't.

Quit crying about all this dojo respect and honor bull****. This is prizefighting and these are prizefighters whose job it is to beat the **** out of other people for money. Who gives a **** if they're not the sort of chummy, friendly guy you want to have a beer with because that's not going to happen anyway.

With you being one of the most humble, charming, even tempered and friendliest posters on this board Nuke, I can see exactly what your problem is with this sort of thing...

Was that really Greg Jackson? If I call my mate or work colleague I never call out their full name. Very telling if true but I find it hard to believe that this was said or that Jones at this stage of his career needs to be told to shake hands with his opponent once all is said and done.

I understand that but why not be who you are? Why act like you give a ****? Be a man and don't hide behind the mask of humbleness. Thats all. I could give a **** but its things like this that make people not like him.

Again, its not that I care what he is, its I don't understand why you would front being something you are not. Obviously he doesn't think he has a great personality or that someone in his camp believes his true personality isn't condusive to being the "good guy" they want him to be. Bottom line is I don't care if he is the biggest dick in the world, what I DO care about is that he is fake.

I swear to god there are some weak minded little girls in this forum. I am 36 and do not watch MMA in order to find role models. I do not watch MMA to support fighters based on their disposition, their attitude or judge their character. I watch MMA becuase I like watching fights. I like watching highly skilled athletes smashing the **** out of each other. Jon Jones is probably the most athletic and one of the most highly skilled fighters I have seen in any combat sport. It is not a ****ing soap opera or popularity contest. So Jones chokes him out and then drops him on his face and walks away but his corner are trying to remind him what he 'should' do while the adrenaline is still pumping, ****ing hell get over it, this is a dog eat dog sport. All great champions have a touch of arrogance and contempt for their opposition DURING COMPETITION, it's what makes them great.

No kidding me too, but it isn't about you personally. Its about Jon Jones. I understand but WHY DOES JON JONES THINK HE NEEDS TO BE SOMETHING HE IS NOT? THAT is the question. Understand the topic fool. This isn't about what you or I think , this is about JON JONES. NOT YOU.

Have you never heard the old addage about fighters 'becoming different people once the bell rings'? Maybe Jones was going to go over and check on Machida even if Davies hadn't have told him to. It is enirely possible that Jones is who he is out of the ring and also the other cat when he is in the ring. TBH I don't give a ****, he's no more fake than any other fighter I have ever seen. And who cares anyway.

You miss the point. The guys tells him "get some fans" MEANING he needs to show that he is a "good guy" so people will like him. You really are slow El Bully aren't you.
