His right eye was badly damaged by Pac, he had to have surgery and had to wait quite a while before being cleared to fight again. Word is he is danger of losing that eye if he keeps fighting and here he is fighting again. If he had any sense hed hang up the gloves before he becomes a one eye not afterwards.
The doctors gave him the go signal. The eye is already healed. I don't think anyone here knows the actual damage Margo's eye took.
The doctor said "I don't see why there's any reason why you can't go on with your career." If it healed right, he should be good.
last i heard if he has the surgery to permenantly fix his eye he cant box anymore or he could do a temporary fix which will hold on for a little while.
If there was any serious danger of him losing the sight in his eye, he wouldn't be allowed fight. He's obviously confident he can take the punishment without risking serious damage. As a Cotto fan, I want to see Margarito get the snot beaten out of him, but obviously I dont want him to be seriously injured like that.
