HA! Did you see Floyd's last home movie parking in the red zones and handicap spots like he owns them. If your a security guard and there's a parking ticket to be given, you gotta be careful with his boys around. As far as the thread's question, is he Maturing well perhaps when it comes to the media but I'd be more quick to believe that it's more of an image more than it is maturity.

it's all a show. mayweathers don't mature, they worsen over time. just take a look at the father. physically he looks mature, way past his years. but mentally, he got stuck to that of a childs.

the only way Floyd matures is to go down the way Floyd Sr. and Roger had taken

I think Floyd is taking the veteran's role this time around. Ortiz is the one kind of being a young hot head (which is saying a lot since he seems naturally laid back). He's feeling himself, so to speak, at the pressers. Which is cool for the fans, since it stirs up the pot a bit. But, Floyd has been where Ortiz has. He's more accomplished, more experienced, smarter. He has nothing to prove. Ortiz has everything to prove. This actually reminds me of the recent Pascal v Hopkins scenario. A young lion coming for a legend's head. And the youngster is going to get shocked when he gets in there with the crafty vet.

I think he is worried about all the law suits, and acting like a complete tit probably wont do him any favours

Thats a good question and I think yes he is maturing, as a man and as a fighter. That makes him more dangerous and I think hes going to start knocking people out.

the amount of hate this guy gets due to his outside of the ring activities is ridiculous. Only a bunch of bitches and females would care about anything he does that doesn't involve his performance inside the squared circle. MANY of the greatest boxers of all time have had a tumultuous life outside the ring, but who gives a ****. The only thing that matter to me as a boxing fan is his performance as a boxer ,and you're a hater, plain and simple, if you think what he does in the ring isn't incredible. Is he maturing? Who gives a ****? That's a better question to ask yourself. I didn't buy any of his fights b/c of his **** talking or to see him lose, i bought them to see the man work his craft. Grow up already.
