I do the heavy bag EVERYDAY and wanted to know whether it is good to do it everyday whilst lifting weight on 3 days?
    Info:
My training is like this could you rate whether this is good, bad or horrible in order to build muscle, keep in mind i DO LIFT:
    Starting:
    100 left jabs
    100 right crosses
    100 left hooks
    100 right hooks
    After starting:
15 minutes of punching the bag with combos and footwork ie jab then guard up and retreat, which makes me sweat, which is good i guess.
As i said before is this good to do EVERYDAY whilst lifting 3 days a week to build muscle or should i rest the same way i rest after lifting?

Punching the heavy bag won't do anything in terms of building muscle.

Looks like a great work out to me, but the real question is are you getting results from it.

Don't hit the heavy bag hard everyday you're gonna injure yourself.

Shadowboxing is 10x better then hitting heavy bag. Focus on shadow, pads and sparring.

Its a basic routine that would build some stamina.

Try mixing it up as if you do this every day the body will simply adapt and your gains will be minimal. Not just muscle but reflex, cardio etc. Instead try 20 mins on the bike with interval sprints, then do your routine. Or do your routine but add a light 20 min run at the end and play with the times. You have to shock the body occasionally.

Or conversely in you love hitting the bag do:
    * 5 X 2 mins with 1 min rest. ALL OUT. Like a real fight. No breaks, everything full power, in out, hands up with defense and movement. Make sure you have warmed up properly though. Finish with 3 rounds of shadow. Once you get stronger you do 3 min rounds.
    * Skip 2 X 3min rounds. Then shadow box 2 X 3 min rounds then just on the bag for 4 x 3 min rounds. But in 3 mins you throw 50 or 100 straight punches - 10 squats - 10 push ups - keep doing that cycle until the 3 mins is up. You will really feel it. You can play with the number of rounds once you build up stamina.

    No uppercuts or body shots?

For accuracy, try the double ended bag

Real question is , what are you training for? Boxing? Marathon? Skiing? Wrestling ?

If it is Boxing then you should check your Chin first.

Bag work is important work, especially for figuring out how to rotate your hips to generate power etc.
