Just continue to fight contenders until a shot comes...just like Sonny Liston. Love Usyk, but he's gone by next year regardless of if he fights Parker or not, so Parker should just continue to build the resume. He's already at Tim Witherspoon, Max Schmeling level--a short-term titlist who's wins make him better than his title run. He can add to that as he waits for someone to give him a shot. All that notwithstanding, I seriously hopes providence smiles on him and he gets a crack sooner rather than later.
Parker V Kabayel would make the most sense. Really hope its not Parker V AJ but Turki loves AJ so might do that fight. Wouldn't mind the following: Usyk V Dubois, Parker V Kabayel and AJ V Chisora.
At this point I think the only fighters prepared to face Parker or Kabayel are Parker and Kabayel lol. Realistically Parker v Kabayel is the fight to make - winner is crowned as the ultimate clean up guy in the rankings. Kind of sucks for both fighters as they are equally deserving of title shots. But other than Usyk and Dubois and AJ (by merit outside of his recent resume) anyone else is a wide step down for them outside of feasting on untested prospects.
No, i don't think he is being sidelined. The winner of Usyk-Dubois 2 will likely be stripped in a week or two post fight. Parker will either be elevated to full champion or fight someone else for the vacant belt. My dream scenario is for Usyk to beat Dubois by June and then fight Parker in December. But a guy can dream.

Basically the WBO got a call from Usyk's slime promoter, then Warren, then Hearn called later discussing the unified champ facing AJ next. Finally Higgins called up drunk and complained but couldn't sell the big Parker v Usyk fight in a special stadium built near a maori village with permission by elders.
You might be spot on . If true , usyk is done for me and i will not buy the ppv since its imho guaranteed the fight against dubois is made sure to make usyk finally win . It will be a meaningless , boring fight and real opponents are avoided .
I know DDD was allegedly ill but his team making no attempt to remake the Parker fight stinks, voluntary defence or not.
