I gotta admit, I am impressed with this.

Nice work, Helenius, and welcome to big time boxing......

I have no pity for you.

Don't browse boxing sites before fights if you don't want to see results

Maybe so, but he is still one of the top names in the division

Peter seems to really have lost his punch resistance. I would have never thought a guy as limited as Helenius would take him out. Well not the 1st or last time I have been wrong.

Did Peter look good at all? win any rds?

    Go somewhere else.

Peter can still make money out of boxing, but his days as a contender are almost certainly over. Frankly, he's made more of his career than I expected four or five years ago.

Peter is pretty much done as top fighter.

He has been for sometime now. The only Title holder he hasn't faced is David Haye and even then I'm sure that Haye stops him.

I don't think he was ever polished to begin with but his power and perceived durability gave confidence to boxing fans that he was the future. His fight in 2005 said it all, Wlad despite the KO loss in the Brewster fight, the shaky moments against TOS and the 3 KD's he endured showed that Peter was never in his class.

As long as both Vitaly and Wlad share the title and Haye's in the mix, Peter will never be champion. At this point I'm prepared to install David Haye as a favorite over Sam Peter. Perhaps David should have fought him instead of Harrison, it would have been far more credible and it would have measured his drawing power against the Klit Bros.

As for where Peter goes now? He's a trail horse. I can only imagine that his handlers are looking for ways to cash out.

Peter's success is born of the detritus of the division and little else. His claim to fame was knocking down a sloppy Wlad and then beating a fat, past it James Toney. He's always been slow, crude , limited and ill-disciplined.

Jeremy Williams was never considered a contender by anyone, nor was Jimmy "Thunder from down under"....he lifted too many weights and was nothing but a big stiff.......to say Peter would be a contender in any other era is pure nonsense.....In any other era the Commie brothers would never have been champions, they would have been contenders if they were lucky.......

It just goes to show how poor the HW divison is right now that Peter is a contender. Helenius did not look that great either to be honest.
