Does anyone else think that Rhodes is ducking Anthony Small by vacating the British title or just moving on to bigger and better things?

Rhodes avoiding Small now that's funny. It's like saying haye is ducking michael sprott.

Anyways, Small has a chance to fight for the vacant title when he takes on Matthew Hall, who funnily enough smashed up Bradley Pryce, who smashed up Anthony Small.

Small has matured since then, but Pryce is one of the top-end domestic fighters, so Hall's beating of him should not be underestimated (despite his ddgy stoppage against Concepcion)

I honestly think Hall will time Small as the fight goes on and stop him around the sixth round of a spirited contest.

I think its gotta be ducking. Otherwise why couldnt the Small fight be re-arranged for this card?

Because Rhodes has something bigger in the pipeline? If Rhodes didn't have something better lined up then the last thing he'd want to be at this stage in his career is inactive and not progressing.

Cause Small is such a difficult puzzle to solve... or he's not really worth the effort. it was a shame - I'd have enjoyd that fight.

rhodes ducking small, what a load of ****!
rhodes would school small for 5 or 6 rounds then knock him out! simple as that.
giving up the british title just means he's moving on to bigger things, but i wouldnt rule this fight out at a later date.

he's not ducking him, he pulled out due to injury and going in with an injury has to be worth the fine afterwards. he wants to beat small up.

I think Rhodes needs to change promoter and get a few decent fights in before it is too late.

Agreed mate ... after his next fight a possible shot at a world title ??? it does seem odd if he hasnt got something better !

And by the way Hall will KO Small inside 5 rounds .... Mathew hall is a top prospect , forget the Concepcion fight there were excuses ...now hes focused and will beat Small ....

in BN today it says Rhodes is still co-managed by Warren and whilst Rhodes wants out Warren still wants to keep him.
