I hope so. The heart of a lion but too tough for his own good. Not talented enough to fight at the elite levels.

Possibly, he took an almighty beating last night. He's just not good enough to compete at that level. If it wasn't for his chin he wouldn't even be in the discussion to get a world title shot.

Are you kidding?? Ruslan fought his heart out. It was a shame that headbutt caused that bad gash over his eye that must have hampered him. He was beaten bad in rounds 1 & 2 looked like fight was over. He battled back & though he took a beating he was still in the fight till the final bell. In fact I think once again Ruslan got robbed of the very least a draw. When will Ruslan catch a break. Every close fight always goes the other way
That guy has ***** of steel The cojones of a champion
Yeah he has 3 losses on his record but how many of those 3 were CLEAR losses?? NONE

I disagree he could have won this fight & he certainly beat Algeiri. He just never gets a break

I don't think so, every time Ruslan has lost the other guys has had to grind it out, I could still see Ruslan beating guys at 140.

He has a iron chin and insane power that alone can make up for his limitations

I had the fight 7-5. Who knows what could have been had he not gotten headbutted so early in the fight. That was a terrible cut, and I imagine it must've decreased his vision some throughout the fight.

I think he can easily become a champion again at 140. He probably should take his time coming back though and let that cut heal nicely. I wouldn't mind seeing him face someone like Molina for his next fight.

It's strange that a guy who was Pac's sparring partner has not added feinting to his skill set.

He's beaten 1 half decent fighter in his entire career, it's glaringly obvious that his chin and power do NOT make up for his limitations at the top level. I like Ruslan he's a warrior and doesn't stop coming forward, but he really isn't that good. No head movement, swings wildly, no jab, doesn't have any plan B or boxing ability and his aggression is ineffective for 90% of the time until he lands his big single shot 2 or 3 times a round. Anyone with any sort of boxing ability beats him.

I agree. I think Provo beat Bradley and Algieri but I don't think he fought LM to a draw. He was clearly outpointed in this fight. I love Provo. For this reason, I want to see him retire now so he doesn't have brain damage. He has already proven he is a champion, the people's champion.

I disagree completely while i do agree he is very limited but you saying his chin and power does not make up for it is not true.

If he was as bad as you said he would of got outclasses by herrera, alvardo, bradley

His power is devastating he can equalize anything a fighter does with just one shot he nearly had lucas out on his feet in the 11th round

Remember lucas is no joke and ruslan is the only guy to keep coming forward and eating 400 power shots from one of the biggest punchers in the game.

Ruslan has also been matched with top level fighters as well bradley for example is miles ahead of alexander, judah, peterson
