I personally think Hopkins will win - but hopefully he will call it a day after this fight.

HBO should stop recycling fighters - though GBP are partly to blame :deal

you did say 2 things that i think were bang on the money.
    1) about peters camp that "you plan for it" vitali didnt grow an extra 8 inches on fight night. he has his hands low and chin back and yet sam is jabbing to the body.
    2) sam made vitali look better than what actually was the case. making him look like "willie pep with pop"

Lennox did, and Corrie Sanders got close enough to land bombs on both the Klitschko brothers, not just Wlad. Luckily Vitali has a good chin and doesn't panic when hit.

Slow-footed but powerful heavyweights, who are only around 6ft2 and are bulky and ponderous, get beaten badly by Vitali. Think back to Larry Donald, Danny Williams, Kirk Johnson and now Sam Peter. They're not fast enough on their feet to get close enough to Vitali, so they eat jab all night long and usually get stopped.

Chris Byrd was smart enough to hold on, and won because of a Klitschko injury. Lennox Lewis at 37 wasn't as fast on his feet as Vitali, which led to him eating a lot of shots, but he had great timing with the jab and was skillful enough to land big shots on Klitschko in return.

Corrie Sanders was old and semi-retired, but in his prime he was fast and powerful. He could close the gap well, and with his southpaw style he could get round that massive Klitschko jab. Once inside, he wa fast enough with his ands to land proper combinations that just took Wlad's head off. Wlad is 2 inches shorter and has a slightly shorter reach than his brother Vitali, so I think Sanders found it easier to get past the jab. Wlad's chin certainly isn't like Vitali's either, and Vitali's stamina and recovery powers have rarely been in question. Although Sanders had some limited success against Vitali, managing to tag him with shots in the earlier rounds, he couldn't finish off the job and eventually took a beating.

The point is though, despite how unconquerable these Klitschko boys appear, they can both be beaten by someone capable of closing the gap and then going in for the kill. David Haye is capable of doing that, for my money there's probably no-one as fast as Haye fighting at Heavyweight who also has the ability to knock a man out.

Both of the Klitschko's should be wary of Haye, but especially Wlad, because if Haye lands he will finish the job off. Vitali may have more success, and as we know Haye is chinny too, but it's the fight I'm looking forward to most in the heavyweight division.
