He basically rushes in, puts his head on your chest, holds you/ smothers you, pushes you around and occasionally fires a 1-2 combination. Isn't that too much wrestling? Isn't holding and hitting illegal? I love his techincal skills but his style is spoiling. I don't think we will ever see an exciting fight with Ward if he is allowed to box like that.

He's from the Hopkins/Floyd school of anything for the win, bending the rules when 'necessary'. But up until Froch's shot after the belt Ward stayed cleaner than in any previous fight I've seen, so give credit where it's due, he pulled a Sweet Science on Carl and the biggest foul belonged to his opponent. The talent is there so he should stay clean in the future.

It's not quite that dramatic... Ward fights on the inside, you're more then allowed to put your head to the other fighters chest and try to hurt them.
