Has anybody wondered why Mayweather, Collazo and Tszyu could not dominate Hatton as easily as Pacquiao? It should be obvious to anybody who knows boxing that Hatton wasn't in shape for the fight. He looked like **** at the weigh in on Friday, and he performed like **** in the ring on Saturday. I have seen many of his fights and without a doubt that was the worst two rounds of his career. The dehydration fatigue must have been very intense this time. Not that I am making excuses for him. Go back and read my posts, I don't believe in this dehydration bull****. Hatton has been abusing his body for years, it is just a question of time before it caught up to him.

Nah I think it's more of a stylistic thing

a whoopin' from Mayweather and a whoopin' from Pacquiao were always gonna look different

    No excuses Hatton got KTFO.
Pacquiao hit hit Ricky with shot's that put's just about anyone at 140lbs & below down.

    just caught Hatton early. 1st, 2nd or 12th. (A K.O. is a K.O.)

Collazzo isnt as good as Pac,KT was way past his prime and Mayweather has a diferent style he just took his time and when the time came he finished the job.

    Oh, damn. An excuse thread.

Uh... read your previous sentence. You just did.

I don't have to. I just have to read 2 sentences ago... why did you write that if you don't believe it?

Which just happened to be in front of the best boxer in the world. What a coincidence.

I think this issue can be addressed objectively without taking away anything from Manny. He lives like a professional athlete year round, while Ricky gets fat between fights and it showed at the weigh in. Acknowledging this simply means that better discipline is part of Manny's superiority, which elevates his victory even more.

That does not explain why Hatton was slower and easier to hit. Go back and read my posts, I predicted that Hatton would be sluggish and that Pacquiao would knock him out in the later rounds. Predicting an early stoppage would be stupid because Hatton doesn't usually perform that bad!

Per Ricky Hatton just prior to the fight, this is the BEST Ricky Hatton you've ever seen. I believe he knows his conditioning and status better than any wanker on a message board.

Unlike previous fights, he did not balloon up in weight in between fights. He came into training camp in shape, so I believe him.
