Big fan of Loma but I'm more amped to see the Dogboe fight. For my money one of the most exciting fighters right now.

The big question; Is lsaac Dogboe the next Lehlo Ledwaba or the next Azumah Nelson.

    Dogboe getting KOd tonight

Just joking. He is good. But his opponent is dangerous.

Unless he is moving down in weight, bad move on his part. He is a small guy, short, avg reach, a plodder.

Dogboe's face post-fight looked like someone had used it for a speed bag.

What he needs is real trainer and sparring partners. You can only get so far sparing with family members.

Fair play, actually, he ended up being more than just dangerous.

Dogboe said after the fight he would take the rematch, he shouldn't even consider a rematch, I hope those around him tell him the truth and move on, he isn't beating that man any time soon.

As for him moving up.. if he wants his career shortened even further, then sure move up.

    I agree, that is ridiculous.

I wonder if sparring family members and tonight's fight exposes what the people around him (family) really are all about.

Do they get paid for sparring? Are they sparring family members to save money?

And I know it's boxing, i know all fighters are proud and don't want to be stopped but the corner (his father) needs to have a look at himself.

I have no idea what he was thinking but his son was taking what looked like a real beating, Dogboes face was beaten, bruised and swollen and he looked like a man who wanted and needed saving.

If Daddy Dogboe wasn't throwing the towel in tonight then I want to know when he would believe it would be justified to call off a fight?

Dogboe wasn't ahead, he wasn't winning, never looked liked winning, especially after 10 rounds, he was battered, bruised, swollen and hanging on for dear life in the 12th.

Personally I would have pulled him out after 10/11, after he had that little rattle in the middle rounds and couldn't put a dent in his opponent then started getting worked over again I would have ended the fight.

But I have a feeling Dogboe is their meal ticket but they will end up ruining the young man if they don't get him a trainer with some brain cells, quality sparring partners (not his f'ing Uncle) and let him develop and grow.

I'm rather angry with tonight's events and the stories I've heard leading up to it.

Thats the problem Hamed ran into when he left Ingle and had family take over for him. Not everybody can be the Mayweathers, Danny Garcia and Shawn Porter are running into the same problem, well at least Porters dad brought in a new trainer when he knew he had done all he could for Shawn. Hopefully Dogboe can do the same.

    Yeah, I agree

I believe in most cases, Family and money don't mix very well.

It just looks really bad for the Dogboe's right now, sparring family members, I mean seriously WTF is going on?

Dogboe was an exposure waiting to happen. He's extremely short, like 5'2 or 5'3, he has short reach also, and a plodding style. While he doesn't go down easy, he is easily hurt to the head and body. He may want to go train with a defensive specialist to hone his defensive skills, and then he needs to move down in weight. He will get absolutely pummelled by any taller fighter with a good jab, and long cross. Talk of him moving up through weight divisions is comical.

That thing he was shouting constantly was creepy. His dad probably has him indoctrinated and all that weird BS.

His son was taking a beating and he didnt prepare him with the tools to defend himself.

This is sport not war. No weapons are used. Gloves are worn on the hands. It's a sport, enough is enough at some point.
