Imo Froch needed an absolute robbery to beat Dirrell. Dirrell made him look like a joke. He was missing all the time and Dirrell got him with some very clean shots. To think that Froch will win all these matches seems very far fetched to me at the moment. I'm not sure he can even beat Abraham.

 

Come off it, it was never an absolute robbery.

It was a really hard fight to score.

cannot see froch winning a rematch with dirrell at all...no way esp in the usa

but i can see froch stopping aa, i think if aa was a brit, he wouldnt get bigged up as much as he does atm. the fact hes a german adds some "mystique" and hardness to him in some peoples eyes

kessler didnt get near to stopping froch. does AA really carry a whole lot more pop than kessler...? i dont think so

If i happaned, it would be interesting to see how people would compare him to Calzaghe. After all Froch would have beaten the best, something which critics claim Joey didn't do.

I love Calzaghe, but you would have to argue that Froch achieved more IMO.

 

Certainly not impossible, but my concern is how much more Frochs chin can take, he has taken some big shots in his last 4 fights and will have to take some more against AA.

Can't wait to see him fight Pascal at LHW.

 

Not impossible at all, Froch could end up with a great resume.

To be honest though, the only fight I would think he could possibly win is the next one up.

I'd fancy Pascal, Kessler (injury permitting) and Dirrell in re-matches.

Kudos to him for getting himself into this position though.

 

imo we have seen the best of froch and it only goes downhill from now on. with the way he has been fighting, he has been taking punishment in every fight and your body can only take so much. hope i'm wrong and he can win the super 6 but i doubt it.

 

Its an issue of longevity i think on paper Froch could win them all or at the very least be in competetive matchups with each of those fighters but i dont think Forch can be at his best for more than another 2-3 fights
