ITV PPV Cost

    Even if you set aside the argument that 20 quid is too much even for an AJ fight I cannot see how the same price can be justified by ITV for a fight between two guys who are at best contenders and where there is nothing at stake, there isn't even a fake feud between the two that adds some 'needle' to it.

    If this gets good numbers then the clock is ticking for AJ's next fight to be over £20.

    I reckon it does 50,000 buys maximum. £20 for this is a joke.

    It will probably be a decent fight but that doesn't mean it's worth twenty pound, degale is a shell and eubank is a fraud.

    Ten pound would be a fair price but they both think they're superstars so that was never going to happen.

    Its an undercard fight on a PPV at best !!! who does the commentary for ITV boxing these days ?

    The only angle to pay for it, is if these do bad numbers, all the good American stuff will disappear.

    However still a really short sighted approach from.ITV

    I look at this price tag in the wider context.

    ITV are giving us Pacquiao-Broner, Thurman vs Lopez, Jack vs Browne and DeGale vs Eubank Jr for £20.

    Sky subscription is £60 and you don't even get any quality fights.

    Was wondering if it was sarcasm. Sorry for not noticing and biting Nurological haha.

    It’s not a bad fight, but where they are in their careers at the moment it’s completely unjustified to be PPV. This is what turns people off.

    Is it Macintosh? I know he does the interviews but they’ve got Naseem on punditry. God knows how, he’s so biased and after his pathetic meltdown on the Wubank and Groves show. He seemed to take it personally that Eubank had been found out, which anyone with a brain knew he would anyway.

    £20 is far too much which at best could be described as a domestic grudge match.

    Worth noting that Thurman vs Lopez is still not confirmed for ITV4.

    Kell Brook vs Amir Khan is less relevant than this fight in the world scheme of things.

    And you ****'s still beg for it

    So don't complain about relevance.

    This is a very good fight, ffs Edward tried to put it on sky PPV

    Respect, i never saw it like that. If itv continue to put quality fights on itv4 then i got no problem paying a score every now and then for a ppv...didnt even realise they showing the Thurman fight next week, Pac and Broner tonight then that next week, f...ing quality!!
