Yea I read that he has been financially in trouble since the Hatton fight.

I'm not sure what he spent his dough on but boxers are in a way just like us, they say most people live 10 - 20% beyond their means so I guess they do too.

But that 10 - 20% at your peak is probably millions and millions then when you are on the slide it's probably hard for you to recoup that.

Plus boxers have b1tches, managers, agents, accountants & promotors and whoever else trying to f.uck them out of their cash!

Well if he has bills to pay I would guess the answer is yes, from what I read he needs to be trying to do a Bernard.

It's a shame I always feel fighters who go on too long damage their legacy but lets not forget JMM is also 38 and look at the stellar performance he just put on.

So Castillo has to dig deep and find it in himself, if thats what he needs to do!

It's sad because most boxers know nothing else so it's hard to get another trade aged 38 that brings in enough money. Also most boxers come from nothing so they know no better when it comes to money. There really needs to be something in place to prevent stuff like this happening.

I was a big fan for a long time but "Weightgate" kind of sickened me off him.Making weight is just part of a boxer's life and that was a bad move on JLC's part.
