    Sorry to break it to you Bob but in 2023 we are long past the age of the "record books" to look back at events. We have the footage for all to see and the public backlash from boxing professionals and fans alike will always accompany narratives re: the fight...

    Just look at how differently Calzaghe’s career is considered by the public to see how little these things matter for. People legitimately think he beat Roy Jones, not the ghost of Roy.

    5 years and everything’s forgotten and careers are judged by boxrec.

    You're not wrong, but to state that "he won" is factually wrong and a generation from now nobody will care he got robbed.

    In a way I'm glad he and Taylor are going onto other fights now and forget the whole thing.

    The plan is for him to fight Regis Prograis next headlining at the Manchester Arena in June / July.
