I was suprised to look on boxrec recently and out of Lamotta's 83 wins only 30 came by knockout. I found that kind of suprising especially after having seen Deniro's portrayal of Lamotta, I mean Lamotta was one tough SOB, I have always thought of the Bronx Bull as a tough ass kicking brawler, is his ko percentage misleading. Thoughts anyone?

He has Baldomier type power......not a one hitter quitter type puncher but a heavy handed fighter who can wear you down and eventually TKO/KO you.

Consider the type of competition he fought as well.

    Very, very little filler.

Very astute explanation ,Jake wasn't a 2killer puncher 2,but he hit hard enough to knock SRR down and nearly out of the ring.A damaging rather than concussive hitter imo.
