Does anyone feel that it's an underrated run?

Yep.I just think that his run has to be put into perspective that this was a 5ft 10 former middleweight.

Injuries and the robbery in Peter I prevented from achieving more.Still, he does have some good results: Holyfield, Guinn, Oquendo, Rahman draw and Ruiz.

Absolutely, his performance against Holyfield (yes I know Holyfield was well past his prime but still) is one of my favorite performances in boxing history. He also had a great performance against Sam Peter in their first fight, too bad James was robbed in that one.

The greatest big titty heavyweight ever puts 80s D-cup club Witherspoon, Page, Tubbs, Bey, Broad, etc. to shame. Wins the JANE RUSSELL MANZIER for greatest big breasted heavyweight.

    No.

    Holyfield was shot.

    Peter was quite Limited.

    Ruiz was vastly overrated.

He didn't really fight the top guys

actually Holyfield was rated as a Top 5 contender by the RING and was a 3-1 favourite.Actually the other guys were top guys at the time.Anyway, you never seem to give Toney any credit.

It was a pretty weak division at the time. Other than Wladmir (who Toney called out frequently) who else was there to fight? Who were all these amazing top contenders toney could have fought?

    Correct.

The division was very poor with WK stinking the joint out in Germany.

But that is the exact reason Toney had a run a heavy because there was literally no first class talent around so he figured while running his big mouth he could make some money fighting some no hopers like the Huggybear, a shot to shid Holyfield, the limited no skill caveman Peter and a shot flash in the pan Rahman....was to stupid to avoid getting popped for roids and was put on his ass by a Peter jab.....and no , he was not robbed in the first fight, a couple of pillow fist flurries dont win a fight.

despite calling out the K brothers I am not sure if he ever would have taken the fight and most likely would have prized himself out while claiming he is getting ducked..........Toney is not not the smartest tool in the shed but he knew the K brothers would keep him at the end of the jab all night long and will never come to him and his foot speed did not allow him to close the distance......there would be no sitting in the pocket countering......he would get shut out in the most boring fashion.

Now, if prime Tyson/Holyfield/Bowe/Lewis as first tier and Morrison/Ruddock/Bruno/old Holmes/Foreman/Tua etc as second tier Toney would have never ever went up to Heavy, period, plus he would get stopped , guaranteed by some of the above....and he knew it thats why you could not hear a peep out of his mouth then....old Holmes would box him silly.

Conclusion;calculated decision to make some dough in a poor division and he still could not deliver the goods.
