Very good performance first time he's truly impressed me as a pro. Looked the part tonight. If Quesada got stopped with o
that punch when down it should have been a DQ, as you say lucky m8

Wow, talk about levels, Ancajas was a few above him. He couldn’t get near him. Ancajas’s body work was brilliant.

If someone’s better than you, that’s just the way it is, and I don’t want to knock Conlan but I just got that sense that he was mentally beaten in the first round.

I agree mate. He was very lucky not to get DQ, it was blatant. Reminded me of the clip of Rocky Marciano hitting a fighter (can’t remember who it was) who was already sparked out on the ropes.

Conlan brutally exposed. Absolutely sickening the number of "chances" conlan was given by the disgustingly biased ref, Steve gray. Whereas Barnes has some ability and often just doesn't show it ...conlan just doesn't have it to show, sorry. Brave, brave guy, but not a championship boxer.

Danny Vaughan seems utterly clueless to me as a trainer, what does everyone think?

Just recently from the Stalker loss to Dodd where is corner advice was questionable and not pulling Conlan out here. And also agreeing to Edwards' world title fight when he was clearly nowhere near ready.

That was by far the best I've seen from paddy Barnes. It's hard to account for why a guy who can turn in a performance like that can manage to look so mediocre at times. He can do it when it suits him. Physically he has the skills. Maybe his problems are mental. One sallow doesn't make a summer, but that was a convincing, comprehensive and well rounded performance from Barnes. Maybe he can prove me wrong.....

Think we all knew what was coming tonight - Conlan was not ready for this step up.

Agree think Steve Gray felt sorry for him and never done his job fairly. Yeah don't don't think Jamie Conlans even British level to be honest and lacks lunch resistance. Painful when the likes of him Lee Purdy etc step up several levels and fight a world class fighter as they end up getting used like a body belt.

Garcia isn't here to make up the numbers...he is here to win. Carl better be right tonight.

frampton is finished as an elite level fighter.

he's been puffing since the 4th.

Quigg would murder him in a rematch, and im a Frampton fan.

That Garcia would have murdered Quigg. Reports of Carl's demise are greatly exaggerated.
