Strange when your having success to move but Saunders has decent track record trained fighters for world title fights. Done well with Skelton IMO.

  3. I'm kinda split on this.

He's done well thus far, a fighter with his APPARENT skill level/ability wouldn't usually be British, Commonwealth and European champion, even in a relatively thin division such as bantam.

They have probably seen his recent performances and realised that without a few tweaks he would be shredded by a genuine world level operator.

Why did he leave his current trainer?. I don't rate the lad anyways.

got to feel a bit sorry for stefy bull and the other guy who was training him (sorry cant think of his name) they have taken him to the brink of a very big fight and now hes moved on, but in this game you have to be very selfish and if he thinks it will help him good luck to him

Bad move I think, his current team have took him much further than he was really expected,
    he should be grateful.

But there is probably more to it.

I suppose we'll find out come Feb 18th, but as someone said I do feel sorry for Stefy Bull and the team.
Guess I won't be bumping into McDonnell in our local ASDA anymore if he's off down south :p

I think the guy has peaked/found his level anyway. Not enough pop to touch world level.......always entertaining though.

Gavin was on a bill at the Donny Dome on Nov 5th, its was some dinner event with fights from various amateur fighters/has beens/never was etc. Never seen him fight myself though.
