I see on the Sky schedule that he's down to fight on the 28th of May in Sheffield. Opponent is still TBA but it says it's a Commonwealth title defence rather than a Euro title fight :think Anyone know who he could be fighting? I really hope it's not some "tough Ghanaian" who's just come over to make up the numbers.
It's the Kenyan that's in the Commonwealth rankings.... it's on the Boxrec forum somewhere. Apparently Hall was pushing for the fight but obviously he's not mando and Mismatch won't want to put them in together even though it's a really good fight.

That's the one. Apparently the Commonwealth council are putting them under pressure to make a defence .... obviously his last two fights have been for the European. Just vacate that shitty thing and take someone in the Euro top 5, preferably Hall of course. Really Sky should put the blocker on, or insist at the very least that Hall is on the undercard. But he's effectively cleared the division out domestically with the obvious exception of McDonnell. Unless they brought Booth down to 118?
Booth seems done tbh :think If I were Sky and Maloney came with this then I'd just tell him to put it on the Brook-Ndou undercard - good night of boxing for Sheffield that would be. And like you say, why not just vacate the title? He's Euro champ so why the need to be fannying around with the Commonwealth belt. Just an excuse for Maloney to get away with **** matchmaking IMO.
Alright opponent, durable and experienced but not good enough for a main event. Hopefully there will be a strong co-feature bout, we haven't heard anything so i presume this will be a crap card and one that is not worth watching.
