Flamer they even stopped the tent fighting at the Cardiff show a few years back, We used to ( Just for fun and Charity of course ) erect a ring up out the back of the local pub on a Summers afternoon just to pay a tenner a head to brawl a few rounds out but that would be a no go these day's . :-(

Flamengo you are right but thats how life is today. Times have changed. Kids swear at there parents today. If a copper kicked you up the arse when I was a kid your parents encouraged it. Could you imagine your mum driving you to school. I cant I never went.

Mate, I couldnt imagine my mum driving me to hospital.. So I doubt she'd drive me to school.. lol

Listening to the old farts, you know, the blokes in their 60's- life was 10 fold better as far as having a gentle balance.. Now is costs to wake up in the morning. As soon as you buy a big tele, it's dwarfed by a tele the next day.. Its all rush, rush and no values..

I know Im getting old. Years ago after the fights I couldnt wait to go out to the nearest nightclub and check out the talent. After chocs last fight I couldnt wait to get back to Chocs for a coffee a toasted sandwich and a sleep. How loud are those nightclubs today?

I am totally against music in the gym. I cant believe guys come to the gym and want music to train. Choc new I would blow up about playing music in the gym so he made cds of all the old 60s music for his training. The guys in the gym werent happy but Tony and me loved it. You know that music. The songs you could understand.

I dont think music is a good thing in fight training, it can encourage you to just coast through a round on the bag instead of trying to bust the f'n thing apart which you should be trying to do. Its handy to have an mp3 player if you go on long runs though, gets you through the boredom of slogging along and just staring at bitumen constantly. at the moment im listening to one of those aussie rock albums 'alone with you tonight' 'solid rock' 'too many times' 'live it up' its dynamite jogging music

...and the stuff the young guys put on in most gyms is bloody rap and other unlistenable shite.

...trouble is when the old stuff is playing the old trainers start singing along with it!
