If geale had a rematch clause it means he can force a fight with mundine if he lost, the IBO made geale a mandatory challenger and tried to make mundine defend his belt against geale. They are two different things. If geale had a true rematch clause then surely he would have enforced it or taken steps to secure compensation from team mundine, further to that he would need new management if they chose to screw him out of a career high payday by letting medley take his place. The IBO trying to force a rematch is not a contractual clause. :hi::hi::hi::hi:

    Flamengo,

Yes, it's certainly been the public view of Geale, and the private view of others very close to the matter that there was indeed a rematch clause in the original contract.

There may have been steps taken since to make that clause just go away of course - the Medley fight was certainly a 'sweetener' for Grange, there's no question about that!

From Sox's recent quotes of the Toll, it appears he doesn't know a single thing about this matter, hasn't even heard the views of those involved. So it's probably a good thing that neither you, I or virtually anyone else can actually read his uninformed ramblings.

CHB, I will be in Sydney tomorrow to talk to Choc about everything. If I get up there early enough I will call in and see Billy at the Grange. I know Choc has never signed a return clause in any previous fight but maybe he did with Daniel. Let you know what I find out.

Little wonder not a single person who posts here has one ounce of respect for our little 'friend'.

20a87, the self proclaimed expert on everything, particularly things he doesn't know anything whatsoever about!

    ...LOL.

It's apparent that you click the little link saying 'view post' every time I post, but keep pretending you don't. :good

Your eagerness for geale to have had a genuine rematch clause is only to prove me wrong because you have gone on a run with the wrong end of the stick.....again . The urgency of your posts suggests that this is very important to you :rofl.

You actually thought the geale fight was in tasmania so in terms of "facts" I'm sure I know more than you (about anything). Also it does puzzle me why you are so firmly riding the jock of Balmain so hard considering your absolute disdain for choc. I'm pleased one of mundine's coaches posts on here but you are a bit OTT.

I know you will pretend you haven't read this etc but you and I know you will.... later hater :hi: :rofl :hi:
