Jeff Lacy is ****, cant believe he held a ttle for as long as he did. Alot of fighters in this division would beat him at the moment. Calz, Kess, Mundine, Bute, even markus beyer would outbox him. he should move up to L.Heavy cause hes to ****in slow at S.Middleatsch
That performance was bad, I mean real bad, if I were his coach, I would have told him to drop out of the fight because he had no timing what so ever. Also, Manfredo was pushing him around in the ring, Lacy's has no strength. I think theres a good chance his damaged goods, I hope Im wrong though, cuz his one of my fav fighters.
Jeff Lacy is simply not a skilled boxer and thats what prevents from being world class. And since he's getting older, I doubt he has anymore time for improvement. Bascially he just doesn't have the skills to be great.
I dunno about Andrade. He has terrible defence and would no doubt get hit alot. I think Lacy would beat him, though I don't really rate Andrade that highly. Lacy would still be around 7th at 168 imo. Nasty looking scar he has too. I wonder if Big Red Meat Axe still finds him as attractive as before.
Lacy looked woefully slow and ponderous. He moved like an oil tanker, and his punches don't even have the snap they once did which is worrying from his point of view No shame in getting a real beating by a great like Joe Calzaghe, but his camp may be regretting not pulling him out, he'll never be the same
Lacy probably has nights where he's walking Into his bedroom and then suddenly out of nowhere, Calzaghe pops out the closet with a slap barrage making Lacy scream. Then he wakes up In a cold sweat.
