jefferies vs lyle.....

    crazy matchup i believe jefferies outlasts lyle and k.os him late.

    Hard to say what strengths Jeffries had back then and what Lyle had in the 70's...If we took Lyle back in time a lot of the weight training in prisons may have eliminated a lot of his size which may be his advantage in this match-up

    It just depends on how you feel about the evolution of boxing. If you feel that it has evolved far enough that any fighter from 1974 would beat any fighter from 1904 then you have to pick Lyle.

    If you think that it hasn't evolved that far, you have to pick Jeffries.

    A no brainer really, there's just nothing to indicate that Lyle could beat a great heavyweight on his actual record, or on film.

    yes, thats me.if other sports have evolved, so has boxing.i'd always pick a modern fighter over an old timer

    you don't think a big tough genuine heavyweight banger like lyle could beat jim 'scourge of the middles' jeffries then ??
