Absolutely. This is one of the reasons I want Taylor/Froch so much. In my opinion Taylor and Kessler are the top two at 168, and it would be awesome to see them in a unification match.
One of the most telling things about what he is like as a person happened after the second Pavlik fight. His mother waited until after the post fight interviews and approached Pavlik as he came off the stage. She thanked him for treating her son with respect from basically beginning to end. If you go back and look, you won't find ANYWHERE where Pavlik dumped on Taylor. JT even mentioned that in a press conference prior to the second fight. So, you get the idea on how he was raised.
Bute needs to focus on the man in front of him. I expect him to win, but it would be a catastrophic mistake to over look or under estimate Zuniga.
My only question would be timing. I would prefer to see them fight for ALL the marbles/belts at one time. Let Taylor match up with Bute later this year and let Kessler fight Balszey or whoever the hell that is. Of course I hope Pantera takes his belt first. :deal
Yep. Same as with Haye at Heavy. Guy has created a lot of excitement, but if he fights Wald next, the drama is gone from the division. Especially if he loses. It is good for the sport if it takes about two more years for the fighters to get to the top, tournament style as it were.
I like JT. The guy was so humble and accepting after the Pavlik fights. I still think Froch will win though.
