Hasn't fought for ****ing almost 2.5 Years. What the hell is he doing? He could have been making so much more money for himself and for his family. He could of had 5 fights easily during this time. He's pissed away golden time in his career. Lions only? More like Lyin only.
Yep. I hate to say it MP but it's true. It saddens me to see a guy **** away all his talent. He had the potential to achieve big things in the sport of boxing. But he cashed out. He took his pay day vs Canelo and he vanished like a thief in the night. I'm bitterly disappointed by his actions.
Jermall fought last May (which is also still too long). Jermell it's been two years (which is too long and ridiculous). As one of their only fans on this forum, I will admit they've become quite the disappointment.
He clearly must have made enough money getting overpaid, that he doesn't need to be bothered about fighting regularly.
The Charlo brothers really disappointed me. Both were obviously very talented. But they got the PBC bucks and didn't need to step up for the longest time. Now I wonder if we'll ever see either in the ring again.
On some level, yes. I think he realized when Montiel put a beating on him late in their fight and when he couldn't get Brandon Adams out of there, or even hurt Derevyanchenko, that his power wasn't all that it was cracked up to be. Also when you add in that he clearly lost to both Korobov and Trout, that he wasn't going to beat any of the top guys at 160 or 168, he simply checked out mentally.
Jermall KO'ed Cornflake Lamanna in May last year, and it is Jermell who hasn't fought since Sep 2023. I admit I had to look this up as I too am eternally getting the twins confused.
