Walcott was a slick *******, slips the jab and slams his jaw with a hookercut at the same moment.

Remember watching that ko on TV. Somewhat like the punch that Ray Robinson flattened Fullmer with. Both Charles and Fullmer didn't see those left-hook uppercuts coming.
    Sayonara....

Agreed. For me there are some other notable contenders, (Marciano-Walcott I, Hearns-Duran, Jackson-Graham) but this is probably tops.

It was the perfect punch. Started out looking like a left hook to the body, which Walcott threw often as a counter (usually followed by him tying Charles up), but he lifted it to Charles's chin. Arguably the most non-chalant execution of a one punch KO ever. Walcott looked like he was taking a walk in the park before unleashing the punch.

I think the lesson here is that you should never give a great boxer too many chances. They'll eventually figure out a way. I'm not sure even Joe Louis would've won a third fight with Walcott.

Look how Walcott slides to the right after he connects with that monster punch! Like he was on ice, ready to throw another power punch from another angle. Masterful.
