He wants a title shot and thinks he is the number 3 at 155. On paper he has only lost to number 1 and 2. He has put together 6 wins, which have suddenly changed in hindsight. He beat Danzig who is now coming off of the impressive Stevenson win. He also beat Bocek who is coming off of the impressive Hazelett win. Finally, he has beaten Olivieria who was 14-0 and the favourite. I think he also has a couple of good wins further back in his career - Wiman and Palaszewski (who is the only man to have beaten Pettis). At 19-2 is Miller the number 3 and do you think he'll face the winner of Pettis-Edgar/Maynard?
I think Sotiropoulis should be ahead of him in the title shot queue, but he should get a shot at breaking the elite guys, for sure. A fight with Florian or Sherk would say a lot about where he stands.
He's ok, but not great. I still think he should consider a drop to 145. In fact, all those guys you mentioned that he's beaten would be better served to make the move down. They ain't Frankie Edgar...I don't consider him #3 whether were talking about the MMA world as a whole or just the UFC. He's yet to beat a top 25 opponent yet.
yep miller has had good wins but let's see how he does against florian or even sean sherk first before he gets a title shot.
Very solid fighter decent striking and damn good grappling. Would like to see him in somewhat of a stepup fight maybe Florian or even the Dunham-Guillard winner.
