    I forgot the guy's name, the guy tha tjust beat Chris Byrd? He had Jirov as a sparring partner. I don't know if he is planning on fighting again other than that.

    amazing how quickly he went from big time to shot has been, i remmber after the mesi fight people thought jirov was gonna do big things, and they were saying the moorer fight was just a tune up for him

    Jirov was a great champ at Cruiserweight until he ran into a rejuvenated Toney, hopefully he an make something happen again.

    how can they say after mesi pounded him from ring post to ring post ..that he was gonna do good things??!?!?

    I had hopes of Jirov moving to heavyweight, but he looked sluggish and never regained his speed or work output when he moved back down to 200. If he's not officially retired, he'd only be active in the same sense that Michael Grant is anyway; no longer a real threat to even make it to a title shot.
