    Start around 5:30 teke.

Man vs Boy in there...Reckon the Junior fight will be a lot different. JT is tighter defensively and has experienced more than young Benny.

JT was lucky to have got the decision in his last outing.
Hamden made JT look like swiss cheese.

You're not wrong, based on JT VS Hamden, and Taylor VS Costello, I'll give my vote for Taylor with much more confidence.

Bulli Blaster Shannan Taylor bunking down in his house of pain

    - The Daily Telegraph - 9th October 2010

SHANNAN Taylor says this ain't a grudge match. Right before pointing to the gymnasium corner, where he intends to spend the next couple of weeks bunking down.

While he may be in the twilight of his boxing career, Taylor is reviving the spartan approach he used once against warriors like Shane Mosley and Arthur Abraham in preparation for a showdown with fierce Sydney rival Junior Talipeau on October 31.

The Bulli Blaster will spend at least a fortnight living, training, eating and sleeping at the Grange Old School Boxing gym prior to Judgement Day - the blockbuster card which boasts a host of Aussie fighters including Daniel Geale, Lenny Zappavigna, Michael Bolling, Rob Medley and Jamie Pitman.

Which makes this one kinda personal, right? "Well, I reckon Junior's been a bighead ever since The Contender," Taylor shrugs. "I only read him saying in an interview the other day how he's gunna rate alongside Danny Green and Choc Mundine when it comes to pay per view numbers. What's that about? The bloke can't even sell out Cronulla Leagues Club.

"I've been fighting 29 years and Junior's what, 26, 27 years old? He's got some catching up to do. If he wants to be a movie star, fine. Go hang out with Brad Pitt. Some of us are in the business of knocking blokes out."

I don't think there's too much sad about it. If only Taylor had this dedication years ago. Reminds me of the camps Hagler used to lock himself away in.
