Joe recently has been going on and on about how Kelly didn't deserve to be in the ring with him but Bika, and peter manfedo can? Two contender stars can but the undispute middle king Kelly can't? Joe is pathetic and his excuses is pathetic!

Kelly Pavlik doesn't deserve to be in the ring with him yet all the bartenders and cab drivers from Wales that he made a career fighting deserved it. Sure thing.

You can pick and choose among Joe Calzaghe's statements as of late. Fact remains that he said on several occations that he's in it for the money at this stage of his carreer. That said, one can understand he wants to fight RJJ. Just don't go and watch.:smoke

Fact remains that he is a hyprocrit and his fans are bunch of hyrocrits too. Why wouldn't I wanna watch Jones vs Calzaghe?

I'm saying. Watch it on TV without paying a single dime. Don't go and watch it live while calling him a hypocrit. The latter would put you in the same category, wouldn't it. Or more clear: Why add to a spectacle you find hypocritical in the first place?!

Come on, the guy has one fight left. Can't blame him for picking an established big name for his exit. Sorry Pavlik however much we like him isn't quite there yet.

Because his actions are the main reason that boxing gets a bad name. MMA fighters fight the best among each other--why isnt he stepping up and acting like the champ he is and go out fighting the best?? Im sure he would get a lot more respect fighting and losing than running.

WTF are you talking about? how does joe's lame excuses on kelly not good enough to be in the same ring with him have to do with me not wanting to watch jones vs calzaghe. "why add to a spectacle you find hyprocritical in the first place?".... do your nutthugging ass even understand what i am talking about on this thread?

Of course he's a hypocrite. He's also being quite stupid, he bothers to come to the US to make himself popular with the American public and gets a close decision in a boring fight with a 43 year old man. Then he calls out Pavlik and makes a clear duck losing those fans he was trying to make in the first place.

I'm not even sure what that means. But I live in Ottawa, Canada, no surfer dudes here.
