Yeah this is a fight I would love to have seen. I think Eubank's awkward style would work in his favour here, enough for him to take a close decision.

    ... but yet a far past-his-prime Eubank took a young Calzaghe the distance. I don't get it:huh

Prime Eubank would be a more potent threat, I can't see this being a shutout.

what beat eubank/s was counterpunchers with a high workrate
collins ,watson and calzaghe were perfect for them roy jones would win toney would of lost but only becuase eubank/s outside work was by far better than toney's

he didnt give calzaghe a test, the last 2 round chris knew he had lost every other round so he went to war and threw and landed anything he could on him and he landed a quick shot to the jaw and some nasty body shots nothing would of changed if he was younger or not

people say eubank was out of his prime but he was definatly wasnt shot. at 31 he was by far from being a shell and chris had never lost anything from his power speed and counterering skills. besides he gave carl thompson a cruiserwieght champion a incredibly tough fight and in the rematch was winning on the score cards there was a big row in the newspapers saying the eye wasnt that badly damaged

    it wouldnt be any different

not a concussive puncher he almost killed watson with an uppercut ,left hook. this isnt the sign of a weak uncuncusive puncher he had alot of one punch power he just didnt use it post watson he would rather go the distance and was only getting used to it from being a fighter to a boxer i feel this is why he was so damn awkward is he totally switched strategy early in his title career.

and watson had an iron chin he took the boldest shots from benn mcCallum and a guy i cant remember....british lad rather short anyways loads of power and if eubank hurt him and dropped him then yea i would say chris has concussive power

Calzaghe again. Eubank bags a few more rounds, maybe 2 last time, call it 4 in his prime.
