You're just going by Joe's comments in the media there though. It seems to me like he wants to sound like he's in control. If Warren wants to make a fight, Gallagher won't be stopping him.
Yes exactly, the trainers opinion is respected as the inside perceptive, but ultimately it is the promoter who makes the calls. Gallagher is being punished for being too open and honest, he will learn his lesson and be slimey and serpentine like every one else in boxing !
