I am going to get a fair bit of abuse for this just because I am talking about Joe Gallagher but some of you guys love to roast the guy, I know he might not be the most likeable character but credit where credit is due, he gave Crolla superb tactics tonight, Crolla carried them out perfectly but we all gave Gallagher a bit of stick after the Quigg tactics so lets give him some credit tonight, superb from Team Crolla, couldn't have a better person representing our country in Anthony Crolla.

This place is full of negative people. Gallagher is a brilliant trainer.

A good result, however I think people would give him more credit when one of his fighter's win's when they are facing a established world class fighter. Which at the moment, they haven't done that.

I understand what you are saying but he beat a man who was a favourite against him and not many on here gave Crolla a prayer. Would like to see the Linares fight personally either next or the one after and Flanagan in late 2017.

Yea I get that also (a lot of late money came in for Crolla which made it virtually 50/50 at the bookies just before the fight).

It's like I've said before, JG gets the most out of fighter's who have lesser skill sets/talents, that's not being disrespectful either. Perfect example being tonight with a good game plan, against a dangerous punching but relatively unknown opponent.

Linares fight would probably be the most ideal out of the current champions as a fight he could potentially win and he would probably travel for a unification fight/decent money.

Crolla blew the Barroso talk out of the water.

I'm sure Len the Fenian ******* will be along shortly to rubbish Joe, but then again nobody cares about a **** like that that.

Fair play to crolla. The venezualian was a good fighter. Outlasted him and finished him in the end. Crolla now starting to become a serious player

Tonight Crolla was amazing. I had £100 on him to win so was quite nervous after the first 3 rounds, especially as I had £50 on Chisora!!

Brilliant be Crolla and his team absolutely fantastic

Top win, but how were they top tactics he did the same as Quigg did vs salinas, Crolla hardly threw a punch up until the 4th, barroso gassed badly by going hell for leather!

Had to laugh at the Sky team trying to compare it to Tszyu-Hatton when Barroso was ranked no.24 in the world

Im still confused why everyone had this guy held in such high esteem? From his record it looks to me like he only really beat mitchell who is well past his best, he just looked like a guy who comes out like a madman and to be fair the tactics were spot on cover up completely take it all on the arms and gloves and just keep chipping away.
