Sounds like he's falling apart. Ten fights against Kash Ali types is his limit, any higher and he's going to seriously deteriorate.

 

Shot to bits, and sad to see. Even sadder if he’s not invested wisely from the game.

 

What a shame, I cant imagine judging by his current form that he will get another decent pay day, its got to be journeyman small hall shows now, I dont see the big promotors wanting to touch him.

His stock is low so the purses won't be that much either you'd imagine

Doesn’t appear the type to spunk it away either.

 

He reportedly got $2.2 million for the Parker fight and supposedly around $2 million for the first Zhang fight. I'm guessing there were more 7 figure purses, so its sad if he hasn’t got any savings.

 

Can't imagine employing Sugar is cheap either.

 

I don't know anything about Joyce but his lifestyle must be crazy if he's not in a position to retire. I mean, I could retire 100 times over with what he has earned.

He will continue to box and continue to get his head punched in, but it will pay the bills. This is a tale as old as time in boxing. Nothing no-one can say or do to make him retire. I just hope when he does give it up that his brain hasn't turned to complete mush and he can enjoy spending that money he loves so much.

 

Hope he doesn’t end up like Danny Williams.

 

Nobody is taking 8n to consideration what he has paid out from those purses though

Could be anything from bad investments to simply him or other people mismanaging money.

Happens all the time in boxing if the likes of Joe Louis could end up skint anyone can I guess.

 

He looks awful.
