BBBofC have mandated him to challenge Hughie Fury for the British Title. Be a very interesting fight. Honestly think he would walk through Fury. Don't think either fighter will want it though. Joyce wants to get a move on with his career and Fury will prob vacate and fight a few Euro level fighters before another crack at world level.

Followed by a right uppercut and a left hook to the body... that will do the trick :ggg

    Seriously, good move from JoJo

Joe Joyce is a top 10 HW already. Lets see how he gets on with a higher level; Chisora, Whyte, Gorman

Hughie would smoke him out. Anyway remember Hughie needs to recover from a bad cut. He won’t be back out until Spring 2019 for sure.

Yeah can't see Joyce going for the British title now that he's based in the US and doesn't really have enough time to be targetting domestic titles. I thought Hughie was gonna drop it anyway so maybe we'll see Dubois v Gorman for it some time next year?

Joyce says he's up for it and welcomes the opportunity to fight Hughie. While I agree he's trying to fast track next year, aiming for Breazeale, Kownacki and Ortiz, if he can't secure any of these fights then Hughie for the British title is still better than facing another Joe Hanks or Kiladze level fighter.

Don't think Hughie takes it though. The loss to Pulev was a hard one and he won't want such a difficult fight so soon.

Hughie is what he is. He is top 5 British and top 30 world.

He lacks the killer instinct, determination and boxing skill in comparison to Tyson. That’s why he never makes it. This doesn’t improve when he is 28, 30, 31 or 32.

Joe Joyce is all wrong for Hughie. Beats him up six ways to Sunday
