Joe Louis books

    So many Louis books out there. I only own the Randy Robert's Book Joe Louis Hard Times Man.
    Haven't got to it yet but seemed like the best choice.
    Any helpful input? Right choice?

    I remember reading either an autobiography, or maybe written by his son.

    There are a few good books out there.

    My personal favorite is "Beyond Glory, Max Schmeling vs Joe Louis, and a world on the brink"

    It focuses on the period up to the aftermath of the second Louis Schmeling fight, but it is strong on detail.

    I just realized I have that and Ring of Hate in my overflow books down in the basement so that makes three then.
