    Louis is going easy on this guy, which slows his pace down a bit, and you can see more of his nuanced technique that's harder to spot on old film. You can see his footwork better, his punching angles are easier to follow, his head movement and defense are clearer. Solid clip.

    Great job ... so this is late in WW2 ? He must have weighted 230 or so .. still, the bald spot was just starting so I guess it was then ..

    Would like to have heard what he told the soldiers. The G.I.'s in WW2 really respected the guy.

    Personally, I've never had any difficulty seeing Louis's technique on the old fights films, which are mostly pretty well-filmed too.

    Awesome. I love watching Louis. He is so aesthetically pleasing to watch. Tremendous fighter for any era.

    The dimensions seem off on the film. He looks squatter and wider.

    Anyways, nice to watch. Kinda like a thoroughbred going at a canter.
